Environmental Assessment
The Nebo Regional Water Project is a federal project that is required to follow the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process. This page outlines the key steps in the regulatory process and the current status of project approvals.
Environmental Assessment (EA)
A Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) has been completed by the Central Utah Water Conservancy District, the U.S. Department of the Interior - Center Utah Project Compliance Office, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, and the Utah Reclamation Mitigation, and Conservation Commission.
An EA is a document required by the National Environmental Policy Act that summarizes the environmental impacts of a proposed federal project or action. The EA process informs the public and affected stakeholders about the impacts of a proposed project or action so they can provide meaningful feedback.
